Also, the location is marvellous and fantastic, minutes from Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology. The hotel is in a very quiet area of Oxford, walk from a train station. The rooms are silent and practical with a modern updated bathroom as well as comfortable beds.

We only stayed here for 1 night, as we didn't have time, even so everything was first-class. The hotel's location was great and fantastic easy to walk to all sights. There was an attached restaurant nearby. The room was updated and equipped with bottled water, baby cot, as for instance as described.

Very friendly and helpful staff, Superb location. Nice room. Fresh fruit a nice touch.
The cooked breakfast wasn't a success. The sausage looked as though it had been microwaved (ie grey and hard), the bacon was cooked but only warm and the mushrooms, though they looked good, tasted of garlic! A real shame as the ingredients looked perfect.

Room was well spaced, very clean. Friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi (should be a standard but is not so in most hotels). Very close to the train station and business center, but still walking distance from Oxford center.
Some street noise even with the window closed.

The location is very convenient for commitments in Oxford and the hotel is much more pleasant than its position surrounded by busy roads might suggest
Much better for short stays-the lack of public rooms would be a disadvantage for long stays

Loved the comfy beds and the nice, clean bathroom with great amenities. The location near the city was spot on!

Very good proximity to Oxford Centre and rail station. Excellent friendly, efficient staff. Very good sized room with free water/ fruit and morning newspaper - that hospitality would shame many 5* hotels. Did not have breakfast but it was reasonably priced as an option - the option was open for a late decision after a night out - that is also a big plus.

Really good Comfort in a Prime Location
The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and major attractions. I appreciated the cleanliness of my spacious room and the thoughtful provision of complimentary snacks and drinks.

The bed was comfortable
Poor cleanliness, noisy bathroom extractor, poor sound proofing, drafts from the window, no hotel facilities(breakfast is provided by the bar next door), paper that was ordered was not delivered, poor standard of maintenance in the bathroom, shower leaked, can no plumber fit a shower head with a washer to stop it leaking, standard of equipment, waste bins, kettle etc were cheap. For a non-smoking hotel, the smell of stale tobacco still lingered and the cigarette burns on the furniture tend to indicate they do not enforce this ban.
